- Documentation & Governance: Ensure that all technical designs, processes, and client interactions are documented meticulously, setting standards for transparency and reproducibility.
qualifications & tech toolbox:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with business clients and understand their needs.
- Proven Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience in architecting, coding, and leading complex solutions related to data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT development, and business intelligence.
- Cloud Mastery: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud services, with a strong preference for Azure.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, with a strong foundation in SQL for data analysis.
- Database Knowledge: Acquaintance with relational databases, with a preference for SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading teams, projects, and initiatives to success while staying actively involved in the technical details.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the capacity to define, analyze, and document intricate business and technical requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with working in a corporate environment and understanding of corporate business processes.
