Opportunity overview
As a Lead Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/React), you will take the technical lead on a high-impact project focused on data visualization and management for large U.S. retail networks. This platform directly enhances operational efficiency through clean interfaces, smart automation, and robust infrastructure.
You'll be responsible for shaping technical direction, translating business needs into dev-ready tasks, and mentoring a talented, international team of engineers - all while staying close to the engineering work yourself.

Your Responsibilities
Leading architecture and design for fullstack solutions (Node.js + React), ensuring scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.
Collaborating with stakeholders on business requirements and translating them into technical roadmaps and dev-ready tasks.
Guiding developers through clear task definition, technical mentoring, and thorough code reviews.
Delivering scalable backend APIs in Node.js and frontend components in React, staying hands-on with the codebase.
Overseeing secure authentication flows (OAuth2) and enforcing AuthN/AuthZ best practices across the platform.
Supervising data model design using relational and NoSQL databases.
Coordinating deployment processes and CI/CD flows (Azure, Docker) and driving DevOps practices across environments.
Proposing and implementing improvements across the entire software development lifecycle - from architecture to tooling to process.
Maintaining and improving project documentation and actively contributing to Cloudfide's engineering culture and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Participating in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies as the technical lead.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript - comfortable across the full stack.
Proven experience as a technical leader or team lead, with a track record of driving architecture decisions and mentoring engineers.
Solid understanding of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, as well as relational database design.
Knowledge of OAuth2, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and web security best practices.
Hands-on experience with Azure (or other cloud platforms) and Docker and DevOps workflows.
Understanding of network protocols and secure communication.
Comfortable using Git, Linux, and modern CLI tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills - able to bridge technical and business perspectives and inspire a team.
Nice to Have
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments.
Ability to run tech sessions, workshops, or mentoring programs at team or company level.
