Opportunity overview
As a Lead Business Intelligence Developer, you will take ownership of the analytics vision and delivery across our clients' cloud data platforms. Beyond hands-on development, you'll drive architectural decisions, lead and mentor a team of BI developers, and act as the key technical point of contact for complex, large-scale data hub projects.
Expect cutting-edge cloud environments (Azure-first), enterprise-scale data models, and high-visibility dashboards used across international organizations and Fortune 500 leaders.

Your Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring a team of BI Developers, supporting their technical growth and ensuring high-quality delivery across projects.
Driving architectural decisions for BI solutions - defining standards, patterns, and long-term platform strategy for the analytics layer.
Translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders and business users across global organizations.
Designing and implementing modern cloud-based BI solutions, including enterprise-scale data models and semantic layers.
Optimizing existing data models and reports, elevating the efficiency and impact of data intelligence across client platforms.
Implementing and enforcing best practices in data engineering to maintain data integrity, quality, and documentation - increasing data discoverability and understanding.
Collaborating with Data Engineers to ensure seamless integration between the BI layer and upstream cloud data platforms.
Owning BI standards, best practices, and reusable component libraries across projects and teams.
Fostering a learning culture through knowledge sharing, training activities, and active mentoring.
Staying up-to-date with the Power BI and Azure ecosystem and proposing innovations to enhance platform capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience delivering complex BI solutions in a commercial environment, including experience in a lead or senior technical role.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS/AAS).
Proven ability to lead technical teams, drive architectural decisions, and mentor developers.
Mastery of DAX, M, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, including query performance tuning.
Practical knowledge of implementing row-level security (RLS) and Data Lake/Warehouse architectures.
Python coding experience in a data or analytics context.
Familiarity with public cloud architecture, security, and networking concepts (MS Azure preferred).
Strong conceptual and analytical skills - ability to define and document complex business requirements.
Fluent English communication, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices for BI assets (Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit, git integration).
Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or MLOps environments.
Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and Lakehouse architecture.
