Opportunity overview
As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering complex analytics solutions across our clients' cloud data platforms. This global project focuses on assisting a vast number of business analysts navigating large-scale data hubs - translating business logic into DAX, optimizing user-written measures, and training users for enhanced self-sufficiency.
Expect cutting-edge cloud environments (Azure-first), enterprise-scale data models, and high-visibility dashboards used across international organizations and Fortune 500 leaders.

Your Responsibilities
Translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders and business users across global organizations.
Designing and implementing modern cloud-based BI solutions, including new data models and semantic layers.
Optimizing existing data models and reports, elevating the efficiency and impact of data intelligence across client platforms.
Implementing best practices in data engineering to maintain data integrity, quality, and documentation - increasing data discoverability and understanding.
Collaborating with Data Engineers to ensure seamless integration between the BI layer and upstream cloud data platforms.
Contributing to BI standards, best practices, and reusable component libraries across projects.
Sharing knowledge and engaging in training activities to promote a learning culture and support business users' self-sufficiency.
Staying up-to-date with the Power BI and Azure ecosystem and proposing innovations to enhance platform capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS/AAS).
Mastery of DAX, M, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, including query performance tuning.
Practical knowledge of implementing row-level security (RLS) and Data Lake/Warehouse architectures.
Python coding experience in a data or analytics context.
Familiarity with public cloud architecture, security, and networking concepts (MS Azure preferred).
Strong conceptual and analytical skills - ability to define and document complex business requirements.
Fluent English communication, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Experience with Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices for BI assets (Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit, git integration).
Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or MLOps environments.
Basic understanding of data engineering concepts and Lakehouse architecture.
