Opportunity overview
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building the core platform components that power applications across our clients' ecosystems. You'll work autonomously, drive technical decisions, and deliver reusable, scalable solutions that enable other teams to build faster and better.

Your Responsibilities
Delivering reusable components and modules that serve as the foundation for other applications - enabling seamless integration across platforms and empowering teams to build robust solutions faster.
Simplifying and automating the onboarding process for new applications, reducing friction and ensuring a smooth integration experience.
Playing a pivotal role in platform security - safeguarding systems and data as the platform evolves from ad-hoc solutions to structured, scalable architectures.
Driving continuous platform development, lowering the entry threshold for new developers and ensuring long-term scalability.
Championing change and innovation - proactively proposing improvements, identifying areas for enhancement, and driving collective technical growth.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and product objectives.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience as a Java Developer in a commercial environment.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot - able to design and deliver production-grade backend systems.
Familiarity with database systems - relational and/or NoSQL.
Solid understanding of network protocols and distributed systems architecture.
Knowledge of security best practices and AuthZ/AuthN mechanisms, especially OAuth2.
Proficiency in Linux command line operations and Git for version control.
Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong ownership mindset - proactive, autonomous, and always looking to do the right things, not just do things right.
Fluent English communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Understanding of high-quality code principles - SOLID, DRY, KISS, hexagonal architecture.
Experience with O/R mapping frameworks.
Experience with basic shell scripting (e.g. bash).
