You are a Backend Engineer with solid experience in building production-grade services in Node.js, especially with Express.js. You work confidently with TypeScript and know how to design clean, well-structured, and maintainable backend architectures. Clean-code principles like SOLID, DRY, KISS and YAGNI are part of how you think about engineering. You understand when to keep things simple and when to introduce patterns that improve reliability and performance. You care about building scalable systems, write code that lasts, and communicate clearly in English while working with international teams.

You’ll work on an innovative project for a Fortune 500 retail giant the application that serves as a powerful data aggregator, pulling information from various systems into one unified platform. The real charm of this application is in it’s automation capabilities. It streamlines numerous business steps, enabling what would typically take several weeks to be completed within an hour. By presenting data in a visually appealing and readable manner, it significantly enhances user experience and simplifies business decision-making.
Qualifications & tech toolbox
5+ years building backend services in Node.js, with a strong focus on Express.js
Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, including typed architecture and best practices
Experience with Mongoose, MongoDB, Jest, and Swagger – you know your way around these tools.
Deep familiarity with SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI and general clean-code standards
Strong English communication skills for daily collaboration
Proven experience using and implementing design patterns in production systems
Comfortable with GIT and Agile/SCRUM methodologies – teamwork and version control are second nature to you
Extra stardust for
React, fullstack experience.
Experience in DDD – if you’re adept at this, it’s time to stand out!
Familiarity with Microservices, oAuth 2.0, and JWT – if you’ve got it, flaunt it!
Azure and Azure DevOps services – these are your secret weapons.
